Evening’s End follows a group of Thieves* on a picnic that ends in an
unexpected disaster. This squad of Thieves consists of four individuals,
Kento, Rin, Erabu and Velenia, who have grown to call each other family
through the obstacles that brought them together. They finally get a
breather and plan a quiet, small and wholesome picnic to spend some time
together. However, fate has other plans for them and disaster strikes in
their moment of peace and quiet.
After a round of archery, Erabu goes to
collect the arrows and is faced with a poisoned snake that goes mad and
bites her. The poison seeps into Erabu, alters her DNA and triggers her
to transform into a large snake and lose her sanity. This accident
creates a shift in the squad and they scramble to help Erabu come back
to herself and in the process things don’t go as they intended for it to
go. As the saying goes, disaster strikes when you least expect it. Will
this immobilize the Thieves? Will Erabu survive the evening? Will this
be the end for them?
*Thieves is a placeholder squad name. The squad
name hasn’t been decided yet.
Rin comes from an admirable samurai/knight clan. She is gifted at wielding a sword and throwing knives.
Kento is a young boy with the ability to transform into a wolf. He is timid at first encounter but slowly grows comfortable. He is an expert thief and is known for his infamous bread heist.
Erabu is a young girl with snake ancestry that allows her to transform into a snake. However, the transformation causes her to shift personalities and become an alternate version of herself where her typical self is kind and quiet becomes angry and mean. She tends to be the sweet angel to the squad and everyone adores her when she is her typical self.
Velenia is the princess of the royal family. She was born with the ability to manipulate elemental magic. Due to the endless boredom and politics that her family was involved in, she decides she needs fresh air and leaves the palace to practice her magic in the real world. She is the life of the squad or even a party if there was ever one.
